Polaroid and instant photo printers by price

Not always. A Polaroid printer in these listings, such as the Polaroid Hi-Print, prints photos from a phone, while an instant camera takes the picture itself. A few listings here combine a camera and a printer in one device, so read the title.

The listings here include Polaroid, Fujifilm (Instax Link), Kodak, HP (Sprocket), HPRT, Liene and Canon, among others. Each uses its own film or paper, so the refill packs are not interchangeable between brands.

Many do not. Fujifilm Instax printers use instant film, and ZINK models such as Kodak Step and HP Sprocket print on adhesive-backed ZINK paper according to their titles. Check what the listing says and what the refill packs cost.

This site does not test or rate products, so it cannot name a best one. It ranks listings by price. Compare the print size, the cost and size of each refill pack, and the app support for your phone.

Across 81 listings, the middle 80% range from about $80 to $170, with a median of $120. That is 40% below the all-printer median of $199 per printer. Prices change often, so check the current price on Amazon before you buy.

At the last update it is KODAK Step Instant Smartphone Photo Printer, Portable Mini Color Wireless Mob..., at $55. The cheapest listing is not always the best buy, so compare the cost of replacement ink or toner, the warranty and the features.
